THE CROSSING OF HOPE

THE KANGAROO

At the age of 17, Guy was diagnosed a cancer, at the knee. He needs to get his right leg amputated if he wants a chance to get out. There starts the chemotherapy, until the one day he saw Terry Fox on television.

Terry Fox is a young Canadian man who also got cancer and got amputated. He decided to cross Canada to collect funds for cancer research. Unfortunately he could not get the chance to finish his race, he stopped at Thunder Bay. He died a year later, embodying courage and bravery to the Canadians and to the world.

After some time of adaptation to his new condition, Guy regained hope thanks to Terry Fox and started some sports too, like skiing and more recently he did 2 France tour while running, and he escalated the Eiffel tower . Today he’s ready to pay tribute to Terry Fox and thank the one who inspired and gave him hope by also doing a Canadian tour from Saint John to Vancouver.
